A Little Bit of Greek – GRK201

Dr. Matt Sanders

Are you a Greek-a-phobe? Terrified at the thought of the language and mystified as to why God would choose such a difficult language for the New Testament? Do you ask: Why didn’t He just use English?
In this course, we will help take steps to overcoming an irrational fear of Greek by looking at NT verses and topics where knowing Greek really matters.

Are there three kinds of love in Greek? Where does the Bible say the Son of God always existed? What is Jesus telling us to do in the Great Commission? We will not be learning Greek. Instead, we will be learning about this language, why it is the language of the New Testament, and how a better understanding of it can give us a better understanding of God’s Word.
