Archaeology and the Old Testament – Dr. Pat Zukeran

Is there historical evidence that supports the accounts presented in the Old Testament? Most archaeologists and Old Testament scholars believe that much of the Old Testament prior to King Ahab, is folklore. Should we consider the Old Testament history or mythology? This course will present an overview of Biblical archaeology. It will cover the history of biblical archaeology, archaeological methods, the contributions of archaeology to our understanding of the Bible, and significant archaeological discoveries connected with the Old Testament. Come discover the fascinating world of biblical archaeology.
